My 9 year old daughter has been diagnosised with pnemonia 4 times now. The last time she had pleurisy too. The 3rd and 4th time the only sympton she was having besides a mild cold was bad abdominal pain. She got a cold last week and 3 days later she started complaining of really bad abdominal pain and headache every night. I took her to the doctor on the 4th day and they said her lungs sounded clear but gave her some mild antibiotics just in case a new pnemonia was starting. The antibiotics haven't helped and she is still in such pain every night but it is just her head and stomach along with a cough. The bad pain is really only at night for about 3 intense hours and she said the pain feels as bad as when they said she had pleurisy only not in the same place. Does anyone know if there is some underlying condition that could be causing this chronic pain? I so badly want to help her and find out what is causing this pain. Please let me know if you have any idea of what is wrong with my daughter. Thank youReply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
