i would really appreciate some advice on this. on and off for the best part of a year now i have been getting muscle weakness on one side of my face. it is mainly just my cheek and my eyes. some days my cheek is normal but others it feels as if one side of my face is dropping. my eye is like this all the time but mainly in the evening when i get tired. its not really noticable except that there are no laughing lines on the side of my face that is affected and my eyebrow is a bit higher. ive been to an eye specialist who said my there are no problems with my eye but the vision in the eye on this side is decreased slightly. i have also been to a dental specialist who said it is definitely not related to my teeth. i am now on the waiting list for a neurologist but will be maybe a year and half or 2 years waiting.
as i said it gets worse when im tired but funny enough when ive worked out it disappears. my doctors think im imagining things but it very real and uncomfortable for me. does anyone have any idea what this could be please?
by the way the only meds i take are anti histimines and a steroid cream for allergies.
