muscle cramps and weakness with mild exercise”. It has started nearly 4 years ag and now the severity has increased. I feel difficulty (pain) and stiffness to hold an object like pipette for longer time (more than half a minute). Even writing and chewing continuously for more time ( 1 or two minutes) has become difficult. Lifting left hand is painful due to persistent muscle cramps. On sitting on the chair for longer time (20 minutes) my legs are becoming stiff at the bending and painful while walking. If I sit cross-legged I am getting numbness in the legs quickly ( 1 or 2 minutes). Please tell me what the problem is? All lab tests are normal including ENMG. Whether any tests are required for further diagnosis?

  • I am a 22 year old male, non-smoker, moderate drinker, 5'11", 180lbs. I started displaying symptoms similar to yours about a two years ago. The symptoms began to cause problems about one year ago, after I stopped taking Celexa (Lexapro). My blood tests came back normal, as well as basic neurological tests. I don't think my fatigue is getting worse, though. Suffering from Insomnia as well. Were you on any anti-anxiety medication upon the onset of your symptoms?
