hello,
I have had muscle spasms for about 2 years now, pretty much everywere:
ancles, hands, legs, knees, arms, back, but i am really worried about the ones on my head( eyebrow, temple, side and top of head) its getting to be every week some part of my bodys having a muscle spasms. ?????????

I also have had heart murmors, heart beat problems, in 2001 it got so bad i could not sleep because of a sharp pain of my heart was to much. (iwent to hospital, they said it was nothing) sharp pain is gone mostly but the murmors and skiping is still every day.????????

Also all my joints crackle and pop snap, they all hurt everyday???
I have told
my doctor many time, he claims its nothing, nothing doesnt hurt.

  • Hi Matthew, Muscle twitches and spasm all over the body is not a specific symptom to a neurological disorder epecifcally if they come and go.Ask you doctor to run a systematic blood work on you to rule out alot of possibilities.

  • I had very similar symptoms, and a very similar job. I was referred to 10 different specialists and had MRI's and EMG's. I was passed from doctor to doctor. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, but when I saw a specialist in that condition, was told "no". I then saw a Myofacial specialist; again "no"...and on and on for four years. I ended up at a Chiropractor, because by this time I'd try anything. He began to treat me and things began to change, very slowly over a year. He also had me seeing a deep tissue massage therapist once a week (twice/week for the first couple of months. But I think one of the most beneficial thing I did, on my Chiros recommendation, was quit the shipping business. Eight hours a day lifting 20-50 pound packages all day, if not the cause, was making it worse. Within 4 months of seeing my Chiropractor, I had a 1/2 sitting and half milling around type of job and my therapy began to take root even faster. When I saw your post, I thought how parallel your life symptoms and work circumstances were and thought you might want to try what saved me. It's been two years now and I still see a Chiro every month or two along with massage. The spasms and clicking bones are very minimal now and I am active in yoga and walk 5 miles a day. I have no reason to think that I won't return to normal, especially with the progression I've seen so far.
