  • I think it could be cushing's disease, maybe, even addison's disease. I have the same problem. I have been researching this since it happened ten years ago...tests are fine but I can see all the veins under my skin and my skin is very very sensitive to pressure and bruising. I have noticed strangely enough that when I moved to another more mountainous climate for school that they seemed to disappear but as soon as I moved back to my home they returned and are worse than ever. At that time I was also taking some supplements for thyroid. I believe it has something to do with air quality and my adrenals. I noticed changes in my skin right after I took ephedra (I didn't know what I was taking at the time--someone told me it was good for low energy). Ever since, my body has not been the same. I would love to find an answer without having to move. The other option is to wear pants in the summertime.
