I have a few symptoms. (1) I get aching/pains in my upper stomach which was diagnosed as a result of gall stones and indigestion. I have a feeling that the aching is not related to either. The gall stones are not going to be removed (at least not yet) and I was prescribed Prevacid for the indigestion. The aching occurs at any given time but at times it seems to minimize or disappear after making a bowel movement. (2) I have noticed that one side of my upper abdominals bulges out much more than I think it should but it does not ache. (3) I have frequent excessive swelling in my ankles which concerns me. I have changed my diet within the past 2 months and I have been drinking plenty of water. I also elevate my ankles. Within the past several days, none of these seem to matter. The swelling will not disappear.
