I have several symptoms that to date have been undiagnosed. I am just sent from physician to physician. Went to PCP due to upper right side pain that spreads to my back along with lower right pelvic pain. She thought it might be gallbladder troubles but due to the lower pelvic pain she sent me to my GYN. She ordered a CT with and without contrast also. Results showed ovarian cysts, kidney cysts, and liver cysts. Nothing she said that would be the root of the pain. She thought it may be endometriosis scarring. The GYN said he thought it was the gallbladder. He gave an exam and said that although the cysts were palpable they would not be the cause of the problem. He ordered a HIDA scan for gallbladder. The day after my pelvic exam I have rectal bleeding which I have never had before. I told him during the exam that I felt pulling and tearing sensation. Evidently not to worry. Due to the rectal bleeding I was sent to the ER by my PCP. ER doctor said no blood in the stool just on the stool. He did some type of exam of the rectum and found lesions that although they were not bleeding at the time they could have been the cause. He suggested it was IBS and sent me home with dycylomine. HIDA scan was done with a 41 % ejection rate...no idea what that is. So, the GYN sent me to a surgeon to have my gallbladder removed. Went to the surgeon he said the HIDA was within the okay range and that he thought it was an ulcer. So now I go to have an upper gi and an ultrasound to rule out an ulcer. He gave me a prescription for protonix. I will mention also that I did have a hysterectomy a couple years ago for adnomyosis.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
