My 8 year old son had a cauterization to stop nosebleeds. He then developed purple spots from neck to ankles where his blood came to surface of his skin. An enlargement began on his right side that caused his breast to enlarge. He is easily fatigued and sleeps more frequently. A CBC test showed low blood platelets and an eye doctor has diagnosed him with a pinguecula. His platelet level is now a low normal but he came home from swinging for 25 min at school with bruises of his shorts on his legs. Several doc visits have had no specific diagnosis. Said the enlargement could be a growth spell, and the low blood platelets were to a viral infection. I'm thinking something else could be going on. His doc asked what else I wanted him tested for and I didn't know what I should be concerned with. Any advice?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
