I am 30 years old, female and a 2.5 year old daughter. Moderate smoker and about 20 pounds over weight. This all started about 2 years ago. Symptoms began as almost passing out, had to stop and take deep breaths to stop from passing out with that was elevated heart rate and whole body sweats. This happened 3 times over 4 days. Had regular blood workup and saw a cardiologist. The only thing they found was sinus arrythmia, which they said was normal. Felt ok for about year. March of this year, started with dizzy spells, elevated heart rate, feeling like I'm tilting over to one side, difficulty concentrating, sight issues and lack of interest in anything. Have had 2 24 hour urine tests which came back normal one for thyroid and the other for something to do with adrenal glands. That all passed and then I had a "pressure" headache for almost 2 months. Now I don't really notice any symptoms except when I am relaxing. Feel off kilter watching tv or reading a book. At night I feel like I am not breathing and I actually sit up to take deep breaths. Also, I have this odd swelling in the crook of my elbow on the left side. Saw an internal medicine specialist also who said I might have an anxiety disorder. My periods have been more frequent and shorter than before. I feel like I am defective and a hypochondriac and I hate my doctor because she is not taking me seriously. Any thoughts?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
