Help, I have been to 3 neurologist, 2 general practice and internal medicine, and a family doctor. Noone can tell me what is wronge.

It all started almost 5 years ago when I woke up with chest pain. I went to the ER and was diagnosed with pericarditis. They sent me home with asprin and antibiotics. a month later the doctor who was supposed to look at the test reports said I had no sign of pericarditis. I was still having chest pains, but now I was having dizziness, strange facial sensations, my left leg and
arm were numb, and I started having weird muscle twitches all over my body including my face. the chest pain is now more of a outside sensitivity. The last neurologist said I did not have MS, but that it was obvious I had something inflaming my nerves. SHe just didn't know what was wronge. THe first family doctor I went to had immediately sent me for an MRI because he thought THat might be MS. All tests have been negative. However I do have a small legion about the size of a pencil eraser on my seventh cranial nerve and they said that probably cause my dizzyness. I now have double vision in one eyes. I went to see a Neuro OPtimologist and he diagnosed me with dry eyes and both him and my last neurologist say that optic neuritis(the most common symptom of MS) does not cause double vision. THe mayo clinic says it does. DOes anyone have an idea where I can get more help????

  • BLEPHAROSPASMHEMIFACIAL SPASMMy wife has been expieriencing the same thing you have for over a year. and 7 mri's and 5 cats later nothing. I rushed her to the hospitol on monday night ebcause both her eyes closed and her check was being pulled up. the doctors think she has 1 of the above spasms. Both are not great and she is stil in the hospitol very upset that she will be disfigured by these because the spasm lasted about 6 hours and since both eyes closed she wasn't able to see. If they are right then the onl;y thing to do is either botox or brain surgery. Her symptoms were-Numbness in the left arm and leg-twitching in the face-stranges shock like pain behinde her right eye and sometimes in her head-Dizzyness-chest pain. she doesn't have any spots on her brain
