Hi for several years now I have been suffering with a whole host of symptoms, I have done extensive research and found that a candida overgrowth fits best into my range of symptoms. The car I have been driving for the past five years leaks water pretty bad inside, the whole car is damp and smells like mold. I think it is also in the ventalation system too (the car is quite old). I have even seen mold growing all over the seats and carpet. My symptoms include
an incapacitating fatigue
problems with concentration and short-term memory
flu-like symptoms such as pain in the joints and muscle
extreme tightness in the shoulders and neck
white coated tongue
dark circles under the eyes
eye floaters
feeling of unreality (brain fog)
panic attacks
recurring obsessive thoughts
personality changes and mood swings (irrational rage or crying for no reason - fear of talking to people, any kind of confrontation, isolation)
low-grade fever or low body temperature
numbness, tingling and/or burning sensations in the face or extremities
dryness of the mouth and eyes

I know many of the symptoms sound like anxiety/depression but I know im not depressed and am sick of doctors telling me that I am. What I want (need) to know is; can continued exposure to molds cause a candida overgrowth? I did take some antibiotics when I was young to combate broncitis and a urinary tract infection, this could have contributed to it although I have never abused antibiotics.

Thank you so much for reading and I really appreciate any opinions and/or thoughts.

  • Yeah, sounds pretty bad. Try to get a second job just to buy a different car, if you're up to it..
