It has been close to 8 weeks now since my last period. I took a test and it showed that I am not pregnant. I know these tests can often be wrong, but I do not have any other signs, such as tender breasts. I am 20 years old, and I had my first period at age 14. I have been diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia. My period has always been irregular. What can I do besides taking a birth control pill? The last few period I've had have been very painful (cramps) which is something I had never experienced until a few months ago. Could this be part of it?

  • you have to consult ur doctor for investigation for the cuase.the cuase may be hormonal(hihg prolactin, low fsh or lh)or it may be a problem in ovary or uterus.as you described a history of painful menstruation the cause is most probably uterine in origine.consult ur doctor and don't late
