almost 2 weeks ago, i caught a very bad cold or flu, from people who suffered the same symptoms i do, except that about 5 days ago, i noticed a lot of bright red blood in my stool, and have diahrea as well. when i went to be checked out, i was told i just have a viral infection(cold or flu bug), and the blood was from existing hemmoroids, and they didn't even give me any medication. i was told to use an over-the-counter hemmoroid treatment and i'd just have to let the bug run its course. yesterday, i found blood in my mucus. my head and chest have been severely conjested for 10 days now. when i called the doctor, he said that it probably wasn't blood in my mucus(but i'm sure it is), and i should give it a few more days for the bug to run its course, and if by next week, it wasn't any better, then come see him. what should i do?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
