I have been told I have asthma. The problem is, after 15 years of trying every treatment (pills, inhalers, nose sprays) it is not under control. I had allergy testing and it appears I am allergic to almost everything. I had food allegy testing done but not much there.
The only thing that seems to work is prednisone, but only when taking 4 a day. I am going through about 1 rescue inhaler every 10 days and they dont always work. I dont know if any of these symptoms are related, but around 3 years ago, I started getting cramping in my back, but only when laying down. My family doctor told me to get a new matress. I did....no help. I have to turn to my other side for it to go away. Right now I have a hive type rash on my upper back and shoulders. I also get frequent UTIs. My asthma gets worse before my period, and when I was pregnant (3 times) my breathing was awful! I was wondering if it wasnt just asthma and or allergies. I am now undergoing allergy shots on a weekly basis and have been doing so for about 4 months now.
