I have had same symptoms for over one year now and feel like I am being bounced around and wasting time on things that don't work. I have numbness down the arm, heart beat is very strong and seems constricted, head pounds from blood trying to circulate, and the left side of my neck down through brachioplexus and to underarm is very painful, and all areas appear to have hardness, tenderness and I can feel each spot when pressing on either on of them. Nerves in and around heart, shoulder area and neck are compressed.
So I have had stress test for heart conditions, but they stopped before giving me an agiogram, which I think would show some clogging if the carotid artery is plugged. I can't seem to convince them that my symptoms on the side of my neck may be something different than what I was diagnosed with after the recent MRI which showed bone spurs and now they want me to do physical therapy. I had to press to get the MRI and now feel they don't want to go any further with this. I think I will go out of my mind if this is not taken care of soon. I feel like I already have done physical therapy this year with little results.
I am ready to go get a second opinion. I have never done this and don't know how to start. Of course, money is tight since I have not been able to work due to stress from this condition. How do I find a credible doctor/cardiologist? I don't want to waste any more time, since this has already gone on for over a year.
