I had my daughter January 17th & about two weeks after she was born I started having real bad headaches, like I've never had before. It feels like my head is throbbing & it makes me feel dizzy & nauseous. Since then I've had them quite a few times & when I just get a normal headache it comes & goes throughout the day even after taking an Ibuprofen pill. I went to my doctor & he prescribed me some pills which I've read that if you take too much you can become dependable on them, he told me that I wouldn't but I don't want to risk it. I'm going to another doctor on Monday but wanted to know about anyone's experience with this & what can be done. Shouldn't I be tested for something before getting pills?

  • Can you describe the pain? It's been different everytime, just last night I felt throbbing start at the back of my head & it came all the way to my forehead - at other times it's just at my forehead & eyes, I've felt it on the right side only & it's always throbbing, right now it only feels like a mild headache...

Shouldn't I be tested for something before getting pills? :) My wife gets migranes like these when she drinks water that has been filtered by way of Reverse Osmosis. The only reason we could find for this was that all the minerals in the water have been removed. So the minerals in my wife are removed to replace what is missing in the water. This in turn gives her a migraine. We had a reverse osmosis in our home and a lot of restaurants do as well. I got her to drink only Arrowhead water for a while and she didn't experience any more migraines. We switched from reverse osmosis to britta filters and everything has been fine since.Hope this helps,Victor
