Hello. My mom has been suffering migraines for over 30 years. Her pain is chronical and it NEVER goes away. There are days when it hurts most, but it is always there. She has tried everything, and now is having stomach problems for all the medicines she has taken over the years. If anyone knows of a place she can go and be truly listened about her symptons, we will be VERY grateful. We live in Mexico, but have the possibility to travel anywhere in the world. So please, please help her. She has mentioned within her symptons, that she has cramps, her head hurts all over, she has a pain in the right cheek and it hurts most in the mornings right after she awakens. The only thing we know for certain is that this sickness (or whatever it is) is heredetary as my sister has the same symptons. She has been having the migraines for almost 12 years now. If you are reading this and you are doctor and have ANY clue of what this might be, we will appreciate your comments. If you are not a doctor, but have the same symptons and a real solution, we will also be grateful. Thank you all for your attention and help.

  • Since you are able to travel, I would do an online search for high-ranking medical care facilities and email them about your Mother's situation. Almost every site with specialized care providers have a "contact us" link so that you can email them. In doing so, if they cannot help, you can ask them for recommendations & referrals to the specialists they believe could be most helpful to start with. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck to you, I hope your Mother feels better soon!
