Lately Mid-Sternum of my chest is popping, and if I get to a certain position, it gives me great pain until I can repop it back into place. I'm not sure what's wrong. Anyone able to help?

- I'm 17, large chested, and 5'2"
- I weigh average if not lower than what I'm supposed to.
- I haven't been to a Doctor due to understandable reasons.
- The pain is mid point in the Sternum, and somehow it pops in and out of place.

Someone help!

  • Im 19 and a female and this has been happening to me for years now.... i think that it has something to do with lifting weights. I have not lifted anything for awhile but im sure it started after i did lift weights. Right now its bothering so im tring to figure out how to pop it and then it feels better. I know that if you sit in a chair and lean one shoulder on the arm of chair and sit for awhile and then get up and twists it pops. Its nothing to worry about... i have never read it was serious and i have been looking for why my sternum for years.Adrena
