I was in a car accident in 2005 and have had pain in my mid-back ever since. It varies in severity depending on what kinds of treatment I am currently engaging in. The pain is between the shoulder blades, not on the spine but on the muscle areas between the spine and shoulder blades. I have tried physical therapy, accupuncture, chiropractors, personal trainers, massage therapy, neuroemotional therapy, pain pills ranging from tramadol to percocet, and cortisone injections. Nothing helps. I stay at a pain level 3 when I'm not in treatment and when I am aggravating the area it jumps up to a 7 or 8 all day, everyday. I have received no answers as to what is wrong with me. I don't know what to do next. I am only 26 and fear that I will be dealing with this pain for the rest of my life. Does anyone have any suggestions of what my next step in treatment should be? Or in what is wrong with me???Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
