Can anyone help??
i went to a pain clinic Id been referred to that I waited a month to get into today...and came out with the same thing I'd been told by everyone else...
I was given a muscle relaxer and anti-inflammatory I've tried before with no results (Ive actually tried just about every single one known to man with no results) and referred to pt for another 8 weeks...

I have a bad pain about bra-band level in my mid-back...right down the middle. My mri showed "mild degenerative change" at that level. Ive looked at the axial images and some of them look really wierd to me...Hard to explain, but if you looked at it with the disc or vertebral body on top, the little "legs" that come down from it that I think are the transverse process look like one side is really swollen in a spot (like 5 times the normal size) and pushing against the line that surrounds the whole vertebra, which i think is a ligament.
It really, really hurts...all day every day...every thought it consumed by it no matter how much i try not to think about it. I'm not working, but i really really need to. (i moved back in with my mom after leaving my ex and have had no opportunity to earn money to move on)
My arm and leg on my right side fall asleep, feel heavy, feel wierd, tingle, and ache. Sometimes it goes into my left side too...but mostly right. Sometimes when i stand up or walk my legs feel really heavy. My fingers are all tingly and numb and uncomfortable...
I'm really really upset...I wanted to try an epidural and the pain clinic guy wanted to do more physical therapy...
