  • Look into sinusitus. I had a weird bitter metallic taste in my mouth for about three days once. I thought maybe it was from the mercury in my fillings. Turned out it was sinusitis. Don't ask me why it would make me taste metal in my mouth, but it did.Do you have any other symptoms?

  • I mentioned sinusitius as a possible cause, but appears that there might be other causes. You might look at tese two web sites: http://www.atlantadentist.com/metallic_taste_in_mouth.htmlhttp://www.doctorslounge.com/neurology/forums/backup/topic-1623.htmlGood luck identifying the cause.

  • Have you been eating any seafood recently? My ex had a metallic taste and yellow inflamed tongue after eating seafood (sushi). Check to see if your tongue is coated yellow. The metallic taste and burning mouth is consistent with mercury poisoning. You might look into seeing a homeopath. My ex had good luck with homeopathy ridding him of the symptoms.
