My 15 year old daughter has been sick for 2 1/2 weeks. She was in the hospital for 10 days where she was diagnosed with Viral Meningitis. She had a spinal tap done the first day of sickness. 5 days after that she was put in the hospital for dehydration. She is having severe headaches, stiffness of the neck, and vomitting. Her spinal pressure was real high, and everytime they do a spinal tap on here, she gets better for a couple days because it releases the pressure off of her spine. Her bad cell count in the first spinal tap was 95, the second one was 395. It had gone up and she had gotten sicker. The Dr. said that it would have to get up in the thousands to get severe. We were released from the hospial 4 days ago and my daughter is getting sicker and sicker each day. I dont know what else to do? Is there some underlying issuse that the Dr's are not finding?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
