This is my first post, I am a 47 yr old female,

3 years ago has a hysterectomy do to large fibroids, heavy bleeding, enimic

diabetic type 2 last a1c was 5.6, controlled by diet and excersise.

High colesteral on lipitor. last test 186, 97, 50

Colonoscopy done 2 year ago because for constant bowel movements, they found 3 small and one large the size of a baseball tumor/polyp. Was also diagnosed with microscopic colitis, Diverticulitis that they are now calling Chrones. In the last year on courses of prednisone and entocort, now on a maintained on 1 entorcort a day, before diagnosis dehydration issures

2-3 year, Protienuria, undiagnosed kidney disease, on lisinapril I do not have high blood presure, its fo the kidney disease. Have been monitored and have tests for the diabetes and kidney thing every 4 months. Last 24 hour urine is 3 times higher that hit hat been, its 1507 ml/day. So I have been refered bacck to renal specialist for a probable kidney biopsy. also have edema

Ok so here is my question, can all of these things be symptoms of something else going on? I have been tested for lupus and it was negative. Something that would cause all of these things, diabetes or mimic diabetes, mulitpul tumurs, kidney and digestive problems? Aches, pains, tired, ancle swelling, dehydration, weight gain and loss (over the last 5 years have gained about 60) despited eating basically only vegitables and fruit).

I just keep thinking that what is happening is more than just single diseases all at the same time, ant imput would be greatly welcomed,
thanks

How abt Lyme disease and co infections? Many people have undx'd Lyme and have gone through much of what you have. Many have been told they have Lupus, Fibro, Ms, Etc. Some never have a rash or remember being bitten, they just keep getting worse with more problems.Perhaps check out lymenet.org and see if you can relate to more there. Just a thought .Best wishes~~Dee

  • Yes, Crohn's disease is an autoimmune disease. If you have Crohn's your body is attacking itself in the gut.

  • Have a look at the research of a condition called Morgellons. It's described as an unexplained and debilitating condition that has emerged as a public health concern. 10'000 people worldwide are registered as having the condition. Exhaust the info available on several sites and read a couple of sufferers stories. One important part is that many of the sufferers explain that the 'skin' symptoms come last following a catalogue of illnesses and disease. Negative test results are very common too.Worth a try, if you don't think it reflects your health concerns it still informs you of this fast spreading dermatological disease with many serious diseases attached as symptoms. You know? nearly all diseases and infections are caused by fungus and many serious ones are caused by the same type but different in variety. Check out fungus infestation.Good luck I hope you get to the bottom of it. Tx

  • Thank you all very much for responding and I am very sorry for not responding back sooner, kind of had a bad weekend, very tired.I still have my ovaries and have been tested for thyroid, my mother had issues with this so I have always had tests periodically. The Chrones has been a challenge to say the least, steroids are just scarry. Immunity is in the gut and I am trying to live as heathy as possible. I am/was at the time of my first posting dealing with being told I need a kidney biopsy. Not happy about it and quite a bit scared. I am bacically a very private person and do not feel compfortable talking to people about my medical problems. I just don't understand why it's so many things, diabetes, chrones, kidney, bone spurs in my heels, dang!Sorry to sound whiney but sometime a person just has got to whine.I know nothing about Morgellons, but wil look it up righ tnow.
