I am a 23 year old male. For the past two weeks I have been having obstructive brain fog, dry eye and an odd set of intermittent symptoms with my left wrist/hand and left ankle/foot and a weird sweating problem. I have a feeling it could be due to endocrine/diet issues, but I am not sure.
I have been having brain fog which alters my outlook on life, and my short term memory. Also, in the same time, my eyes felt extremely dry at times, and this is not helped with eyedrops (even special lubricating ones). I have had an exam of my eyes and they are healthy. Also, my left hand and foot seems to be stiff at times (but not leg or arm, or rest of left body), and I am not sure the cause of it. The hand and foot symptoms seem to come and go, and do not seem to be permanent or 'stroke' related.
The sweat on my hands feels odd at times, almost tacky for some reason. I am not sure if this is related to my dry eyes (as in a Ph, or composition problem?).
I had a 'basic metabolic blood panel' with thyroid set come back OK, and a physical exam by my practitioner was OK. I am wondering what this could be, but I discontinued a longstanding multivitamin, fish oil and garlic regimin for quite a few days before and within the 2 week period of symptoms, and I am not sure if this could be a correlation or coincidence. I am just worried about a pancreatic problem, as that is the only thing I can tie my symptoms into being semi-correlated to eating.
Am I off base with the pancreatic worries, or should I be focusing on my body's reaction to the supplement discontinuation?
