My problems started about 5 months ago with vomiting a few times a day, then progressed to 5 - 10 a day, then for a while, I wasn't holding anything down. I had two endescopes, abdominal MRI, abdominal CT head MRI and another gastric test all were basicaly normal. I went a month or so and my symptoms got better, but didn't go away, so I saw a diffrent dr that did a blood test and the only stuff majorly out of order was my co2 was low and my carbs were high, many others were borderline. I also had a Ekg for a slow heart rate (resting is around 58). In addition to the vomiting I am now having cold sweats and chills several times a day, abdominal pain, mid/low back pain, depression, headachs , mental fogginess, poor circulation on my left side, blood pressure has been up and down and recently started having some pelvic pain and spotting. I did have a US and I have 2 small cyst on my left ovary. I do not know where to turn, I have been made to feel like there is nothing wrong, I am just being crazy or that depression has caused all this, but I wasn't depressed till this had been going on for a while. Any ideas would be welcome.

She would have mood swings like crazy & have heat flashes, then all of a sudden have the chills. She went to so many doctors and they all told her nothing was wrong. Finally she saw her OBGYN about it and she told her she had cysts on her ovaries. The doctor put her on birth control to regulate her chemical levels & the cysts almost completely dissapeared and she's back to normal. If she stops taking the pill the cysts come back instantly and if she doesn't go straight back onto it the cysts burst (happened two times in which she was hospitalized) I would seriously consider this option. Are you on birth control? You should ask your OBGYN about this.

I guess maybe it is worth a try, my body has just never reacted well to birth control, but anything is better than this.

  • Well there are many different kinds. You just need to find the right brand/dosage that works best for you. You'll know if that's the problem like, 2 weeks after you start the pill.

  • I'm interested in medicine, and I've studied some. Based on your description of vomiting, I suggest you have a head CT. 'cause vomiting dose not always indicate abnormality of the abdomen; it also may be caused by the oppression of cerebellum nerves. The head CT may tell you whether your cerebellum nerves are pressed. Hope you recover soon!
