  • Do a search for xenoestrogens and remove these from your environment and diet.

  • Check out this web site.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gynecomastia Here are some things it says.....Gynecomastia (pronounced: GUY-nuh-ko-MASS-tee-uh) is the development of abnormally large mammary glands in males resulting in breast enlargement, which can sometimes cause secretion of milk. The term comes from the Greek gyne meaning "woman" and mastos meaning "breast". The condition can occur physiologically in neonates, in adolescents, and in the elderly. In adolescent boys the condition is often a source of distress, but for the large majority of boys whose pubertal gynecomastia is not due to obesity, the breast development shrinks or disappears within a couple of years. The causes of common gynecomastia remain uncertain, although it has generally been attributed to an imbalance of sex hormones or the tissue responsiveness to them; a root cause is rarely determined for individual cases. Breast prominence can result from hypertrophy of either breast tissue or pectoral adipose tissue, and often a combination of the two. I hope that helps ya.

  • That is uncalled for. I have a problem in this area too, and have no problem in the women department. Ignore the previous poster. Your opinion doesn't speak for all women.

  • To oldhagz88-if that is the kind of comments you are going to post.PLEASE STAY OFF THE SITE. It is obvious you are not old enough or mature enough to be on the computer without supervision so if your parents are not around to proof read, log on to Sesame Street. They have great advise on manners which you are in need off.

  • I felt compelled to answer on this one, even though the technical term has already been named. My husband has gynecomastia. It is a perfectly normal thing that happens. This is a website where people are supposed to be able to go and ask medical type questions in a friendly environment without being harassed for it. What goes around comes around. Being a bully isn't right in person or on the internet. And to the person that started the thread, I'm not sure if anything can be done w/o going to a doctor. I know that my husband talked about surgery, and I've seen a young man on Discovery Health do that, but it's so invasive I talked him out of it. If it where really a detriment to his self esteem, I would support him in it, but the way he was asking about it seemed to me that he wanted to know if I where bothered by it. The answer to that was no, I'm not bothered by it. Take care and good luckSo I guess what I'm trying to say is, if it bothers you enough, maybe go see a doctor about it and put your mind at ease. But just know as some others have already indicated, there are women out there that would be perfectly fine with it. Even if some people like to be hurtful online, not all of us are.

  • the post mentioning xenoestrogens is the one to follow here,in my opinion.many chemicals in common use find their way into the drinking water, and have an effect in the body which mimics oestrogen. one of the most common is actually traces of female urine bearing excreted elements of oral contraceptives.i dont think i have to tell anyone what to do about that!i really hope it sorts itself out, gents.

  • Don't forget phytoestrogen! http://www.google.com/search?lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=phytoestrogen Yet again, a possible sign of a food intolerance - soy is the highest natural source of estrogen, and whole wheat is another big source.

  • Don't worry about this nipple thing and you are NOT a freak of nature. - Do NOT listed to those p**ks! My partner has this. He got them as a young teen and was told they were because of high hormone levels and that they would go as the hormone levels went down. He is now 22 and they're almost gone. I'm guessing they take so long to go because men carry on maturing until they're 21. Anyway, this is not a big deal. I have never had a problem with it! + it's only there when his nipples are soft, so usually when I see them (when he's not wearing anything) he's turned on and they are erect ...so where's the prolem?!!
