4 yrs malignant hypertension in a 26 yr old male 5' 11'' 126 lbs. kidney disease, l. ventricular hypertrophy, nausea, vomiting, thirst, hunger, bleeding gums, eyes, nose. severe insomnia, feels wired. severe headaches. recent visual changes, mental confusion, joint, chest, back pain and face suggestive of acromegaly. ruled out pheochromocytoma, secondary addison's, renal stenosis, cushings, hyperaldosteronism, checked cartoid artery.
growth hormones checked once 4 on a scale of 0-6.
lab tests cortisol and aldosterone barely detectable. chronic hypokalemia. recent low sodium and low glucose.recent episodes of shaking followed by left side numbness. head ct normal. pet scan normal. adrenal glands normal. sceduled for head mri. wonder where to go from here. my son seems to be terminally ill.
