I stand all day at my retail job. When I finally go home, my legs and ankles are swollen, incredibly red and itch all over. Even my hands are retaining fluid. I went to the E.R. to get it checked out last week and they kept me overnight to do a cat scan on my chest as well as a heart stress test and ultrasound. Everything came back fine, so I was sent home. My family doctor is not worried about it and she says plenty of people get red legs and the swelling is not serious. I don't see her again for another 3 months. I do have a thyroid problem as well.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
