My father is 68 years old he recently developed diabetes and hypertension he has been getting leg pain for past several years worsened 2 years ago.There is pain in the right leg from back till the sole of the foot, he experiences this pain when he starts to walk for first 20 minutes then the pain disappers. He was walking regularly before this but now he cant. He also has numbness and burning in his feet specialy area between big toe and 2nd toe.Please tell me what this is

  • Since the pain goes away after waking for a while, it might be displaced and caused by a back problem (pinching a nerve). However, since he has diabetes this can cause nerve damage and he might be suffering as a consequence of this.
