i got sick about a month and a week ago, i had vague symptoms like low fever, fatigue and achiness and my lymph node (only the one on the right side of my neck) has been swollen ever since. my throat hurt to swallow but only where it was swollen. at first it was very swollen and tender to the touch, after about a week it stopped hurting however its still large and my symptoms of fatigue never went away and now im sick again with a bad fever, my neck is stiff, throat is sore, and my legs hurt a lot. ive had weird tingling sensations in my fingers and toes, and i get light headed almost every time i stand up.

i need some advice because i dont have insurance and my health is my number one concern right now. thank you thank you.

They usually have flat affordable rates and are not hooked up in any way to insurance companies. The fact that you are on a tight budget won't discourage him/her to give you an excellent treatment. It is a 'pay as you go' thing. Oriental Medicine can evaluate you and treat you w/o the need of sending you for expensive exams. They will give you an straight forward evaluation and you won't be sent out home with a list of expensive tests or/and a question mark. You will be home with some herb or action plan on how to get better. The DOM will never tell you 'it will go away on its own' or 'it is all in your mind'- they actually listen and are persistent to bring you back to vitality. Best,

  • Your first symptoms sound like mono, but the recurring fever and stiff neck are pretty worrisome. Are your eyes light-sensitive? If so, meningitis would be something to consider, and go NOW to your doc or the ER. Try to get into a non-profit hospital (state of city-run), they might have some payment plans.

  • I second Eatafruit's advice. She recommended NAET/Bioset therapy to me and I went. It is a form of accupressure and works no matter what your "diagnosis" is or if you even have one!!Where do you live?... I will help you find a practicioner in your area so you can "get back to normal"... no kidding. here to help... mommy cat:)

  • Deb, I too live in Vancouver WA. I did a consult for my son with a naturapath physician that does this NAET bio thing that yall keep hearing about. In just a 20 min. consult(which is free) I learned more than I have with 4 years of messing with regular drs. I think this woman is wonderful.

  • Is it possible to get a swollen neck lymph node due to a tattoo? I got a tattoo about 1 week ago and its healed fine with no sign of infection other than a slight itch for a few days. Is it possible that I am fighting an infection with no other symptoms such as fever or fatigue?
