Been ill for seven years with frothy white lung secretions, including frequent possibly respiratory infections as have small green and yellow lumps, used to cough blood, white secrections some with coloured secretions and blood from nose. Lack of stamina and mobility. Throat infection or inflammation or both also.

Seven years ago also developed a variable squint which causes balance problems.

Are the two sets of symptoms linked.

I have no diagnosis for the lung secretions and need one.

Have used montelukast to stem secretions now use flixotide, subutamol and antibiotics to try and contain symptoms. Doctors say there is nothing wrong with my lungs or heart but the secretions keep forming. Previous scans suggested bronchietasis but later scans were clear.

  • have you ever been hospitalized with congestive heart failure? i have no idea of your history, age, social behaviors but a sign of CHF is frothy, blood tinged sputum. i suggest going to your doctor and let him make the diagnosis according to sputum sample and labwork and exam.
