Hey guys, I hope you can help. I have been to the doctors 3 times now with no prevail. I have a deep irritation in my chest (lungs or bronchi) that can only be described as that pain when you either take in a huge breath and hold it or let all the air out and hold it. If I take in a deep breath it causes me to cough. I have had this since January. I went to the doctor the first time and got antibiotics. I went back a few months later and they did a chest xray and everything was fine. I got put on a proair inhaler and prednisone. 3rd time the doc said it's allergies and the other docs didnt know what they were doing. He did a pulmonary test and the results were fine.I got a cough suppressant pill, prednisone and he told me to take 2 benedryl at night. NOTHING HAS HELPED. It has gotten worse in the last week. It somewhat improves on occasion then comes back full strength. It's really disturbing and concerning. It seems the docs dont have a clue. Anyone help??
