I'm a 22 year old female. For over a year now I have had a lump under my armpit. It's inside, not outside. It is painful to touch and sometimes painful without touching it.
I have been to the doctors a number of times.
The first time I was told it was probably caused by shaving and was told not to shave for two weeks. I did this and nothing changed.
The second time, I Was put on one week of antibiotics. It did clear it up, but it was soon back (within 2 weeks)
The third time, I had blood taken and they tested for a hormone imbalance. Came back normal.
The fourth time, I was given another 2 weeks of antibiotics and more blood tests. Antibiotics cleared it up again, blood tests came back normal.
I now have TWO lumps. The original and another slightly smaller one. I finished the course of antibiotics 2 weeks ago.
This is really getting me down. The original lump can be seen on the outside now.
