i fell backward while carring a large pot of boiling hot spaghetti sauce and ever since i have had this nagging pain that radiate from my low back to my right groin/testicle. yes, the doctor has attribute it a herniated disc i incurred at the time, but it is a general assumption rather than an absolute definitive cause. i can purposely rock while sitting and prompt this painful connection. i think it is also causally related to my impotence, any similiarities? Y'll

  • I have herniated disk issues, but I also have hypermobile joints. The biggest problem with having hypermobile joints for me is that my sacral illiac joint (in the hip area) goes out of place. When this happens the pain is very severe. The pain is in the lower back and then comes around into the groin area and sometimes continues down the inner part of my leg. I had a doctor (one of the few that I trust) explain to me that a nerve is being pressed on causing the pain to go in that direction. Many people with herniated disks will have sciatic nerve pain which travels down the back of the leg. I can tell if it is my SI joint giving me trouble or my herniated disks by which direction the pain is going. I would look into a hip problem or SI joint problem. My herniated disks give me very little pain compared to the SI joint problem. At times my pain feels more like there is a problem in the groin area rather than in the hip area. Hope this helps.
