I have been suffering with lower right Abdo pain for 4 weeks, it is constant and is dragging me down - i have been unable work due to feeling generally unwell with this pain. It is very tender to touch or any pressure (such as my trousers) applied to the area is sore.
I suffered acutly with this pain last year, which again, they were unsure to what could be causing it & took my Appendix out.. it has been comming on and off during this time but nothing as severe as this.
i have recently had an ultersound on my womb/uterus area & internal ultra sound and that area is all fine. My bloodtests have showed no sign of infection & my internal swobs have come back clear. The docotrs at the Gyna ward seem quite useless and are at a loss, my G.P is not sure on what step to take next. Im finding it soooooo frustrating, as nothing is being done & i am in constant pain! Any idea's on what may be causing this? (please!!)

Any diarrhea, loose stools, constipation, IBS symptoms? DOM

  • I don't tend to have any bloating after i eat, my bowel movements are very regular - up to 4 times a day. Although recently have had very slight diarrhea. My mother suffer's with IBS, talking to her my pain doesn't seem to similar to that of IBS.

  • Pain in the right lower abdomen can be caused by several things, including:AppendicitisCrohns diseaseGastroenteritisIleusInguinal HerniaIrritable Bowel SyndromeKidney StoneOvarian Cancer (Early Symptoms: bloating, pelvic or abdominal pain, difficulty eating or feeling full quickly & urinary symptoms)Ovarian CystPIDTubal PregnancyVolvulusI would want to rule out ovarian cancer. There is a blood test called CA125. If you have not had this test, please do so to be safe. Often time ovarian cancer has no symptoms, but I would still have this test. You may also want to consider a colonoscopy to rule out bowel problems.Good luck.
