I have been having some lower back pain for some time and all of the doctors that I have been to say that I don't have any kidney problems, and I totally disagee with them. I would have to say it's not when my sugar is high or low it hurts, I feel that when I don't drink enough water that it could have something to do with it. I have been tested for kidney stones and all other tests and they all say the same thing that my sugar is not affecting them, and I totally disagree. Answers please

  • I think that if your kidneys were involved the pain would be up higher, a little below your shoulder blades. It sounds more like spinal stenosis to me. If your pain decreases with sitting or lying down you might request an MRI of the lower back.
