Lower Back pain

I get some major aches and pains in my lower back, near the spine. It seemed to start three years ago. That's when it was at it's worse, for awhile doing every day tasks was hard. I couldn't run, nor I could roll over at night without being in enough pain to make me cry.

Well, now I rarely get it that bad, but if I've been sitting or standing for any long periods of time it starts to hurt a lot. And today I was just walking, and a very sharp pain hit in that area and it dulled to around where it usually is.

The pain itself is a like a heat by the spine, but it's also an ache. It feels like my back needs to be cracked, or something. (But when I crack it, it really doesn't do anything.)

Any help would be useful, since there are a lot of problems associated with back pain and I don't even know where to start.

  • Also, I don't know if this has any significance whatsoever, but the joints in my hands also get a slight warmth pain in them everyonce in awhile and they feel like they need to be cracked. But my knuckles just don't crack.
