I have been having RLQ pain and it just won't go away. I have been up to the hospital 2 in 3 days. They said it had something to do with gastronintestinal, But I am not responding to their medicine. They done blood work but it came back fine. I have been having alot of gas but the pain in my right side isnt going away. I'm sick but I'm no throwing up. It feels like a sharp pain and its reacurring ever 2 to 4 minutes what should I do.

If it is something gastrointestinal the water may help anyway. It seems unlikely that there is anything seriously wrong in that region of your body that they wouldn't catch at the hospital. As long as you are passing urine ok it probably is gastrointestinal.Sorry not to be of more help, I know ice water sounds like an overlysimplified response when you are in pain but after having some very serious gastrointestinal problems I can promise you it is key. You may also consider the yoga pose, child's pose (you can easily find pictures of it on the internet) not to sound like a crazy hippy or anything but being in this position does help to relieve gas.
