i am suffering from dropping platelet count for the past 1 year.platlet count in the body keeps fluctuating but generally hovers around 20000.spline size is normal as per ultra sound.and alsobone marrow test is normal.Though there is no feeling to the me except for the fact that cuts take extremely long to heal.i was on heavy dosage of steroids for that sustained period of one year.
blood pressure, sugar, liver functioning are all normal as per the latest reports.
please advise no hope in sight

  • Steroids can slow wound healing. Do cuts still take a long time to heal though, off of steroids? If so, you might be interested in this medical doctor's interview... http://www.energyfields.org/science/becker.html He mentions wound healing in it, so I'm sure you'd find it interesting.yes they still take long to heal.coz the platlet count still remains low.hovers around 25000.
