Hi, Iam new to this forum. I have not been feeling well for the last 2-3 years. Last year I saw numerous doctors for heart palpitations, getting dizzy upond standing, horrible anxiety and fatigue. My last straw was my hair starting to fall out and loss of memory. A couple of weeks ago I was driving and I could not remember where I was going and for a few seconds nothing looked formilar. I take 50mcg of synthroid for hypo-thyroid. So I went to the endo thinking it was my thyroid. He ended up doing a b12 serum level on me. It was 209 pg/ml the range was 211-911. He told me I was just boarderline and to start taking b complex. After I looked up b12 deficeincy on line it sounded just like me. I rememberd to years ago another dr. did this test on me and my level was 239pg/ml. Right on the report form the lab it said that anyone under 300 should be given mma test. But this dr. told me my b levels were a little low take some vitamins. I want to cry Iam soooo tired and lathargic all the time. Everyone thinks Iam a hypocondriac (sorry don't know how to spell it) I went to a gastro.... and he had some blood drawn up and is checking my b12 level again. I will get the resulst tomorrow. I could tell he thought I was just another tired mom. Iam 42 with to girls age 6 and 2. Iam not sure what kind of doctor I should be seeing does anyone have any suggestions?
