For a very long time now, i have been searching for what is wrong with me and how what i'm eating, what some disease is causing, or whatever, is doing to me. I'm a 20 year old male. every day i experience incredible depression, fatigue, sore muscles, stomach pain, head pressure which goes with my ever present brain fuzz that causes me to percieve things differently (like very fast or very slow if i'm driving, and forgetting things i would usually know), and worst of all i feel im unable to sleep, AT ALL. it is driving me to tears, as every day i seem to fight to remember how to act like myself, it seems. last year i spent all of my waking moments reseaching diseases and, mental health, and had numerous blood tests, physical tests, diets (gluten free, then dairy free, for 2 weeks each) neurofeedback, i almost went to a hypnotist. but no matter what these symptoms still remain. if someone could be a saint and tell me what is wrong with me i would be forever in debt to you. thanks!

  • more info needed Depression is capable of causing all those symptoms. What came first.. a heap of symptoms and then depression after that due to all the symptoms and trying to live with them? or did everything, including the depression come on at once? What exactly is the sleep issue you are having? Can you manage to exercise? if so what happens when you do?

What exactly is the sleep issue you are having? Can you manage to exercise? if so what happens when you do?i should of been more specific. the depression was not always there it kind of happened through middle school, especially when i had to adhere to a more normal sleep pattern, its just my opinion but i believe my sleep problem and my depression are related. when i sleep i feel physically on edge, just worrying about everything, and mentally i know i won't get any sleep which makes me more anxious. when i wake up it's almost like i never had any good sleep and i'm up peeing alot. i can excersize its just i have such a hard time concentrating during the dayi'm on edge i might trip while running or something, because i'm feeling always so dazed.

  • Dear Mr Moore Why don't you talk it all through with a psychologist. Maybe there has been something bothering you since your school days, when your sleeplessness and depression started, perhaps something in your life you need to resolve psychologically, in order for your bodily symptoms to go away, and for you to find peace of mind again...? Take care!

  • i decided im going to try this thing called chronotherapy, where you readjust when you wake up and get tired by setting your alarm for very early then staying up until your tired, even if it's like 3 am. so im going to bed at 2am tonight and waking up at 8 30, and not taking any naps. try that for a week and see if it helps...other than that i've exhausted every option.

  • I had all the same symptoms you do and I was freaking out because I am also a young guy. I went to doctors, had a physical, a blood test, I even had an MRI because I thought I might have brain tumor because of the head pressure. Chances are you are infected with parasites, as I have found out so many people are and don't realize it. They take all the nutrition from your body and excrete acid waste that causes havoc in your nervous system and metabolism. Left unchecked it just spirals into all kinds of health problems. If you are so inclined you can try to research parasites, toxoplasmosa, and hulda clarke, and find yourself a good herbal parasite cleanse and a zapper to use. That's right, a zapper is a handheld device that you can get for less than the cost of an office visit and it kills organisms in your body. This isn;t something you need to do all the time, but I used one for about 10 mins one day and all my symptoms started abating so I thought hey there might be something to this. Toxoplasmosa gondii (just one of over a 1000 parasites out there) is carried by the common house cat and it is estimated that up to 65% of the population is infected. Causes all kinds of strange symptoms and also can cause behavioral changes (look it up, it is creepy!). Easy to deal with on your own through the methods I mentioned, mainly a 30 day herbal parasite cleanse, which people used to do one or twice a year back in our parents day but no one thinks about any more. Hope this helps you and others as it has helped me. I'm finally feeling better after over a year of looking for an answer. -C
