I have gotten blister like sores on the inside of my thigh. I have had about 1 outbreak in the exact same spot about once every year to year and a half. The only time I have seen a doctor for it, he just took a glance and gave me a cream for dermititis and sent me on my way. Is it possible to be actually herpes? They are clusters (of 4-8) small blisters, very itchy and painful. It sometimes feels like I am being stabbed. They last for about 2-3 weeks, scab, and then go away. I've looked at pictures at other websites, and I am convinced that it looks like shingles. But contained to a smaller area, and only on the inside of my thigh. I did have chicken pox as a child. I have never had a cold sore. I usually cover the area with 3-4 regular sized band-aids, or 2 of the large size. Another problem I have with this is that it is on the middle of the inside of my thigh - not a great place to wear band-aids. so I then get a secondary iritation on my skin where the band-aid sticks. It is red and raw, and I have to switch the direction that I place the band-aid to give the skin a break, and end up with a horrible sight on my leg. Any ideas or suggestions? Have you ever heard of getting shingles (or herpes) in the exact same spot approximately 7 times over the last 12 years.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
