Hi, I'll try and keep this concise.
I'm suffering terribly since I got back from travelling in India and Sri Lanka with gastrointestinal problems. Diarrohea (some black) for every BM, constant nausea (vomiting every week or so), stomach cramps, headache and low-grade fever in the evening. The symptoms get worse at 9pm every night and continue through the night. It is as if an alarm goes off in my stomach and something wakes up and causes havoc. When I got back from travelling I went through a period of wheezing and palpitations, but that stopped, and the gastro problems just became much worse. I've had:
- two negative stool tests (the doctors said it DEFINITELY wasn't a parasite at this point, which I DON'T BELIEVE)
-a course of metronidazole (which treats giardia) which made me WORSE
-liver, gallbladder, kidney, chrohn's checks, all normal and/or negative
-due for a colonoscopy next week
1. Does this sound lie a parasite? Will a colonoscopy show up a parasite?
2. Do "symptoms getting worse at night" mean that it is more likely a parasite than a gastro-problem.
Help!

  • Wow, it sounds like we have almost the exact same thing. Where in your stomach does it hurt? How long did you have the nausea before you started vomiting? My nausea started about March 10th (the day after I got a pap smear) and hasn't gone away no vomiting as of yet. I have abdominal pain in the upper center of my stomach. That's so weird, I noticed last night I feel worse everynight around 9:00pm too. I also have the Diarrohea every BM. Please, please let me know if you find anything out. Where are you from?

  • Hi Emily,Did you put your email address at the bottom of a previous post I wrote? I'm 23 and I live in Oxford, England. My symptoms mainly came on after India but I had them a little before too. I only vomited after taking the metronidazole as it was obviously not agreeing with me.. but other than that there is no vomiting... just constant nausea, always feeling on the edge of being sick but not quite.

  • Hold on what is a pap smear? I know what a smear is but not pap... I had a smear around the time I started getting symptoms too

  • Hi,Yes I have mild fever on and off. It's worse when the nausea is worse. Freezing cold, then hot and sweaty, independent of what the actual temperature is. Do you think this could be a hormone thing?I originally had a pelvic smear and examination because I was getting lower abdominal pain. She felt a lump when she examined me and gave me a smear but by the time they did an ultra sound it wasn't there. THEN th gastrointestinal symptoms started to appear. Does this sound similar to you? She said I had "fluid in my pouch of douglas" or something...where are you from and how old are you?

You body is reacting and over-reacting. This is all traveled territory for me.I was given Hepatitis B and MMR and that was the end of my healthy years. It has taken me a long way to get where I am- and I am not 100% cured.Learn the truth about vaccines. Doctors will discard the obvious. The only treatment I know about is NAET or Bioset.Best.

  • An immune system dynfunction would make sense. What is NAET? And how do I get an immune system check? How did you diagnose yourself? WHat were your symptoms after the MMR jab and the hep B?

  • An immune system dynfunction would make sense. What is NAET? And how do I get an immune system check? How did you diagnose yourself? WHat were your symptoms after the MMR jab and the hep B?These whole thing we are discussing is very obscure. NAET and Bioset doctors will treat you, but they don't diagnose. They don't waste time trying to trace back the origin as they know people are not going to believe that vaccines are nasty toxic evil things. They don't want to get the government to go after them- so they don't make any claims.I am not a doctor, and I have nothing to lose. After I had the Hepatitis B vaccine, I started having eye inflammation, swelling, headache, stomaches, nausea, vomits- no given reason. After takin MMR- 3 weeks later I almost died in the Hospital. I was tested for everything: HIV and Ebola too! I had a spinal tab and it was just ***l.I was crippled for 4 months. After that I started having all kind of uncurable conditions such as GERD, reflux, food allergies, drug allergies, alcohol intolerance, etc. It's being 11 years since that vaccine and I got Mumps! In a facilty where everyone is vaccinated! including me. This one almost killed me- low grade fever, blood in my kidneys, etc. This is same as AIDS- everyone has a different version of it.If you look into the truth about vaccines, you'll find lots of websites that link contaminated vaccines to AIDS, Autism and Cancer.Every batch of vaccine is different. If they used Monkey kidney's to make the living cultive of the vaccine, you get monkey viruses. There is also Mercury and Aluminum in the shoots- they go straight to the brain.Sorry to break it to you: CFS, ME, AIDS, syndrome this, syndrome that, depression, it is all the same crap.naet.com it is the only thing that works for most people- but it looks like it won't cure us 100%. We don't know if the viruses and virus mutants from the vaccines go away- but for sure the glitchy response gets activated with any virus you catch.Oil of Oregano - this is what all my friends and I are using.Best,Fruity.

I too was getting a lot of pelvic pain, I saw the obgyn. I believe my pelvic pain was caused by an IUD I had, I finally had the IUD removed and my pelvic pain was gone. I just got back from my primary doctor, he said I have an ear infection (which may or may not be causing my fever, we'll have to see after I take the antibotics) I also had an upper and lower GI series done last week, he said that came out normal too. I am 22 and I live in California.

  • Is the pouch of Douglas the same as the abdominal cul-de-sac? Fluid accumulated there after my appendectomy and was very painful. I had a CT guided needle aspiration which instantly cured it. I believe there is also a way to remove the fluid vaginally. I had the hot and cold flashes post-op also. Also, I have heard that it can be irritated with endometriosis.
