To start of im only 14 and i have ehlers danlos syndrome.
Lately i have been experiencing some strange symptoms, they include tingling in all my fingertips and knee's, back pain (i know it can be explained by my condition but lately it's getting worse ) and fatigue. Does anyone have a idea of what's wrong?

  • You have your diagnosis. I would suggest you join the MANY chat rooms and forums for this disease. There are many classifications to this disease and you need to be searching for information among the web sites that are experienced with this problem. There are probably also some teen websites where you can discuss things that bother you and learn ways to combat them by the actual persons who have the same problems as yourself. On this board, you can get homeopathic suggestions and nutrition solutions, tips for managing pain and various possible diagnoses , but I think your problem needs to be addressed by experts at this time in your life before you entertain ideas from this type of board. You need to hear the realities before you search for the cures. Of course you are welcome at this board, and we wish you well and realize that your medical decisions will be made partly by your parents. Do they also have E.D. syndrome? Become very educated about your problem and then search for alternative medicine solutions if you so desire. Also look on this board to see if anyone has been misdiagnosed. Have you had a geneticist look at your symptoms?
