Our daughter has been suffering with illnesses since birth, she had RSV at 4 months. When she was about 2 she started vomiting for no reason first thing in the morning until she ate and drank, the dr did a wee test and told us it was diabetes so we went straight to the hospital. The hospital stated it wasn't diabetes. Since then we have been back and forth and still have no diagnosis. Her symptoms are: she is very pale, dark rings under eyes come and go, ketones in urine, protein in urine, sometimes glucose in urine, low iron levels, low lymphocytes, increased erythrocyte sedimentation rate, stomach pains and severe headaches. She has so far had ultrasounds showing nothing and an edoscopy that showed small amounts of blood in her stomach that are unexplained - not ulcers. She drinks heaps of water everyday and has become more and more irritable as each day passes. We are lost, we do not know where to turn. Our daughter is suffering and is in pain almost everyday, she has on again off again fevers. If anyone can help we would be forever grateful.

  • Please try to take her to the nearest Children's hospital. This is not normal and could be serious. Have they done a full stool test? She should be tested for giarrdia, parasites, and other pathogens. Best wishes.DOM

  • Please do not listen to anything Shula or Acuann tell you. My sister just passed away because Shula and Acuann told her that her doctor was wrong and she did not have a serious condition. Acuann even told her to get acupuncture to get healed. These people are going to be investigated for practicing medicine without a license. Shula and Acuann are specifically wanted in connection with my sisters homocide. Thats right homocide. If she would have listened to her doctor instead of these internet quacks she would still be here today. Rest assured I will do everything in my power to put these two behind bars and shut this website down for good.

  • Has she been tested for Lyme disease and co infections??? Have you been tested for them? Some findings show it can be passed on in pregnancy. Not all tests are reliable and many have false negs.....It sounds to me, she has many symptoms that adult Lyme patents have. Go to lyment.org, there are people there who have children with Lyme who may be able to give you some help and more info. I can imagine how upset and frustrated you must be, with your dau so sick. Will pray for you and hope you find out soon, so she can feel better.~~Dee

  • the test results you post indicate renal malfunction. in two year olds, the most common reasons will be metabolic (inborn errors of metabolism), although vasculitis can sometimes occur and some medications can cause kidney dysfunction as well. unusual things, including toxins/poisons (like lead) and parasites (like malaria) can cause similar problems. finally immunodeficiency from any cause may present similarly.i'm troubled by the 'drinking heaps of water' as that alone could cause the problem - if you want the child to stay hydrated, choose milk or pedialyte.
