Liver? Sinusitis?

About a week ago I started having symptoms for ethmoid sinus inflammation, I didn't go to a doctor nor take anything to relieve the pain. Few days after it started, my lymph behind my head and neck (right side, back and front only) got swollen. The one on the back of my head hurts pretty bad but it isn't red. All this I just thought it was sinusitis, but for the past couple of days I've noticed that it hurts where my liver is located and seems to be a bit bigger than usual. And to top it all, I noticed a small hard ball that hurts on my left wrist. Should I be concenred? or these things don't sound serious?

Also, my mother suffered from liver cancer, can that possibly cause me any hereditary liver complications?

  • First, the ball on your wrist:is it mobile, tender? It sounds like a ganglion so far. Next, liver cancer is not hereditary.Do you know what an enlarged liver feels like?Do you have any dark urine(bile)or jaundice? If not, your liver is probably O.K.

  • A ganglion can look and feel like a ball and be tender to touch. If you were jaundiced, your urine would be dark.

  • Feeling exhausted is a very nonspecific symptom and can occur from things as different as anemia and infections. As for your joint pain, which ones hurt? Are they red, hot,or swollen?Do you have fever?

  • Maybe you can help me. Went to the Dr. was given cipro for uti, 3wk later had bad sinus infection, gave me amoxicillin 875mg., took for two days, extreme diarraha, skin blistering, have taken regular penicillin many times before. quit taking the amoxicillin 4 days ago, still have extreme diarraha and now my urine is the right color, but has very strong smell of amonia. Do you think liver or kidneys?
