Ok, I had a liver biopsy August of 2009 and they found my liver was fibrosed severely. I have a lot of food allergies, and used to get hives from eating too much protein. The hepatologist said the fibrosis was due to a metabolic disorder that tends to cluster in families, but not what type of disorder it is. Any ideas on what doctor may be able to help me find out what it is?

Any ideas on what doctor may be able to help me find out what it is? Do you feel you can't stay focused, sick to your stomach-especially after high protein meals? Are you small in stature? I have an idea, but wonder what other symptoms you have.

  • Please look into a supplement called PPC (polyenylphosphatidylcholine) ... A polyunsaturated form of Lecithin, brand names PhosChol and HepatoPro. This supplement is such a powerful liver protectant, it even prevents damage from carbon tetrachloride poisoning in animal studies. It has also shown in animal studies to halt progression of fibrosis. Good Luck and GodSpeed
