Please help. My mom has been treated with Amiodarone for the prevention of Afib, except she keeps going into afib even after cardioversion. Her cardiologist wants to increase her amiodarone to 400mg. Amiodarone has some significant adverse long term effects and it is'nt working. She is 76 yo has had triple bypass x3, an MI effecting her anterior and inferior walls of her heart, stent placement and several cardioversions to name a few. Can she have ablation?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
