I am a 29 year old male and for the past month and a half I have been having the following symptoms. The overall sensation is similar to sleep deprevation ( like staying up for several days without sleep). It ranges from mild to severe lightheadedness which can sometimes lead to headaches, shaking in my upper body most noticable in my arms, hands and shoulders, nervousness as in touch sensative or easily shocked or excited, fevered sensation in my shoulders and forehead and overall senstion of weakness or fatigue which leads me to nap for several periods during the day. I have made two trips to the ER over this. The first trip was due to pounding heartbeat and labored breathing due to being tachacardic. I was kept overnight for observation and was given an EKG an stress test the following day which came back normal. The second visit was due to no change in my symptoms to which a CT scan and blood cultures to check for viral infection were done which also came back normal.
A few days after my second ER visit I went to a dentist for tooth pain to find that and impacted wisdom tooth had become infected and was put on 500mg penecilin to resolve that. Since then my symptoms have leesen in strength but not occurance.
I have been taking Prilosec OTC for heartburn/GERD and these symptoms became apparent after the first 14 day course. I have stopped taking the Prilosec for almost 4 days now with little change to symptoms but no longer have heartburn.
I know that these are a wide range of symptoms but I wonder if there is any definate cause. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
