Lightheaded and numb

For the past 2 weeks I have been having spells of lightheadedness like being in a fog or tipsy. At first I just thought they were migraines, because I got a stiff neck before, like when I get a migraine. Since then the fog has happened without the tight neck. I realized last night that lying down with my feet elevated made the fog go away. At night I wake up with numb hand(s) and more recently my feet have been feeling tingly during the day. At times parts of my body just feel weird, its hard to explain. My legs or chest will just start feeling different. Also, I have been extremely thirsty as of late.

I went to the doctor today. They are running tests on my blood, but I don't have a lot of confidence in this doctor. He didn't really ask any follow up questions. These symptoms seem weird for a 26 year old to have to me!

Anyways, any insight anyone has would be very much appreciated.

  • Make sure they follow up on the thirst issues by checking you for diabetes and also adrenal problems. If you continue to doubt your doctor's competence, you may want to consider a second opinion. Not all doctors are good.
